Solar cells used in solar power generation are exposed to numerous environmental conditions due to outdoor installation. Therefore, various tests are conducted to evaluate their reliability. Evaluating the service life of panel modules is particularly crucial, with checks ranging from failure analysis to standard tests conducted from the development stage through to product supply and beyond. ESPEC meets these requirements with its temperature and humidity test chambers of larger capacity.

The FM Series environmental test chamber’s test area dimensions can be adjusted in 50 mm increments to accommodate different module sizes and quantities.
The test chambers support various IEC standard tests and can be utilised as temperature and humidity chambers for PID evaluation by implementing insulation and high-voltage static charge prevention measures.

Wide temperature control range

Model variation offers two types of temperature control range (-40 to +180°C or -70 to +180°C), with or without humidity control (20 to 95%rh).

Great testing space with high-performance control

The largest model (approx. 5,000L) achieves a temperature change rate of 3°C/min.
